Matt and I have decided that we are going to live off of our children when we retire. I am assuming, of course, that they will make millions playing baseball, and if you don't believe me, just ask Tyler. I have added a video to show you my retirement plan.
Well, its that time of year again. Baseball. or I guess in this case softball. Matt has his first old timers game for the season tomorrow night. I will be keeping score on iscore and you can watch the game live on your computer, pretty cool huh? The guys even have a website. I keep all the stats for them. It is suppose to be sunny and warm we shall see. We all seem to be in baseball mode already anyway. Matt is coaching the Varsity boys with Rob and he coaches all of my boys, Tyler has moved up this year.
Tyler told me the other night that when he makes millions of dollars playing for the Yankees he is going to pay me back for all the money that he owes me. I said I didn't want the money that I want a house in New York so I don't miss a game. Matt said forget that I want to go to batting practice. Tyler said dad you will be too old for that by the time I get there. Matt said that he wanted to pitch to the players for batting practice and Tyler said he wouldn't be able to get it over the plate by then! I swear these kids think we are ancient.
Of course I am reminded that when my parents were my age I was 21. That is a scary thought. I have enough trouble with my almost 13 year old. yikes.
The twins are finally reading Harry Potter in school so I get to do my project with their class this year. I can hardly wait and this year I am doing a project with the 7th and 8th grade science classes. It is a Harry Potter Science Experiment. That should be lots of fun.
And the best new of all is that, through a friend, I have booked a trip to Orlando in June. We fly down on the 22nd and it is a direct flight from Syracuse, which is a-w-e-s-o-m-e. We won't be back until the 1st of July!
Arael has started up with basket ball again. She has had a few tournaments. They played really well. It is the 7th and 8th graders. They are gonna have one heck of a team.
We are also getting ready for camping season. We are going memorial day weekend. I think Matt is gonna start building a camp by the river now that we have that land. It is going to be a busy summer but it will be fun.
