Flight home and things...
I did not take 1 picture today. I think that is a good thing. We are home safe and sound, although the flight was a little bumpy the pilot did a great job of landing the plane. I really don't like to fly but I realize it is a necessary evil. The kids seem to like it and Matt does not mind. Last night I hooked up with an old friend from high school, Jenny Stiger Kinch, it was so nice to see her. It has been a few years. Time gets away from us as we get older. So Matt and I did not head to bed until at least 2 am. Of course he had 12 beers that he bought when we got there and decided to drink last night because you can't waste beer. That is alcohol abuse... anyway.
We had breakfast at Denny's and then headed to the airport. We were there in plenty of time and the flight for the most part was uneventful, well, except for all of the turbulence. We came home to a very clean house, that I love and a dog that missed us. We headed right to camp to support our friends that lost their mother today. Kind of a bitter sweet home coming but I am glad we are here for them.
Ten days was long enough maybe even too long but there you have it. We are ready to get back to business or at least glad to be home. Next on my agenda is the 4th of July with the Doty family. Until then.
