A lot of candy was consumed before 8am and Aaron's chocolate bunny met an early demise. Alex was engrossed in his new book and nearly forgot about his candy. Abigail really could care less about any of it, the same goes for Arael. The twins were only mildly tempted by the sea of sugar and Tyler, well, ya, Tyler. He was more concerned with what everyone else got and making sure that the Easter Bunny was fair.
We ventured outside for an egg hunt and realizing it too late that the eggs had been in the sun for about 4 hours, we were pretty sure that the chocolate in them was soup. Oh well, the fun is in the search, right?
I believe we will be making another trip to Baltimore in August for the rain make up from Friday night. Road Trip!
In case you were wondering, Matt did stop for gas. I think it was the looks I was giving him and the occasional sigh. He still maintains that he could have made it 52 miles with the gas light on in a Saturn Outlook!
Now we are headed back to the real world. When we left Baltimore it was 85 and sunny. Now as we are approaching Hazelton, PA it is 73 degrees and continues to drop. Hopefully we have warm and sunny days in our future.
